Athena Dixon is a poet and essayist. Her work has appeared in journals including The Great Lakes Review, The Rising Phoenix Review, Compose Journal, and Pluck! among others. Her poetry chapbook, Way Station, is forthcoming from Winged City Press. She is Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Linden Avenue Literary Journal, a Callaloo fellow, and a Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net nominee. She writes, edits, and resides in Philadelphia.
