Katharine Kimball

Katharine Kimball is a bilingual, independent photojournalist based in Portland, OR. Currently she is documenting a project about BIPOC women fighting for racial justice in rural Oregon. The project was recently awarded funding from the Ford Family Foundation and the Oregon Arts Commission. Katharine worked as a newspaper staff photographer for 8 years, is an alumna from the Missouri Graduate School of Journalism and served as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in The Dominican Republic.
