Maria Rodriguez (AKA Sparkykneecap) is a Mexican-American artist living in Portland, OR. They studied at and graduated from the Pacific Northwest College of Art, receiving their BFA in Illustration. Through shape and color they often explores themes of identity, culture, and nostalgia while also creating work that is playful and lighthearted.
