Farahnaz Mohammed (you can call her Farah) is a nomadic journalist, based wherever there’s an internet connection. She has a particular interest in digital journalism and exploring innovation in media. Originally from Jamaica, Farah has lived and worked in Bermuda, Canada, Scotland, Argentina, Hong Kong, the U.S.A and Germany. Her writing has appeared in The Guardian, Quartz, The Huffington Post and Nautilus, among others.
She was formerly an intern at the United Nations Development Programme, a Knight Innovation fellow at VICE Media, and a contributing writer and editor to the international women’s rights platform Girls’ Globe. Farah holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University and a Master of Arts in Spanish and English Literature from the University of Edinburgh.
