Jesse Sposato is a journalist, essayist and editor living in Brooklyn, NY. Her writing has appeared in New York magazine’s Bedford + Bowery, InStyle, Refinery29, Broadly, KQED Pop and The Rumpus, among many others. She is currently working on a grief memoir and a collection of essays about coming of age in the suburbs.
As a branded content writer and editor at places like R29 Brand Experiences, Ryot Studio and Narratively, she has written about subjects ranging from a nonprofit that makes 3D-printed bionic arms; to a farm in the city of Jackson, Mississippi; to DIY projects for the whole family; to innovative radio and television stations. While at Ryot, she concepted, wrote and edited a large part of the written content for the TIAA Difference Maker 100 campaign on HuffPost, which was a finalist for multiple content awards and was featured as one of the 50 best branded content partnerships of 2018
. When she’s not writing or editing, she’s likely to be reading, hiking or eating popcorn.
