Kim Stravers has spent much of her life immersed in adventure sports, writing and editing for outlets such as ESPN, Surfer, Powder and Men’s Journal, which led to a love of travel and her decade-plus involvement with Nowhere magazine. In past lives, she’s managed a beer and blues festival, co-founded an outdoor-recreation nonprofit and successfully wrangled a couple of political campaigns in a tiny mountain town; in her current one, she continues her work a staff editor for publications including The Surfer’s Journal, is a certified celebrant and death doula, volunteers with the New Song Center for Grieving Children and is part of the current SoundMind Institute Psychedelic Facilitator Training cohort.
