Marissa D’Orazio (aka Mazzer) holds an MFA in fiction writing from George Mason University. She is a high school English teacher in the DC area and runs a monthly writing workshop for adults called Mason Alum Writers. Her work has been featured in The Rumpus, Scary Mommy, Adventure Cycling, Wraparound South, River Teeth, and Electric Literature. She is the creator of the Terrible Writing Podcast, where she digs up embarrassing pieces from her past and gives other writers tips for their own work.
